A Winnie the Pool baby quilt. This is another UFO, I found while I was cleaning for Thanksgiving. It was almost completely finished. The binding was on the quilt and only needed to be sewn down. I don't know when I made it. ...more than 5 years ago. It could be dated by the design. The twist block was new when I made it. I can see that I have improved my skills since I started this one.
This is the quilt before the minkie giraffe quilt. The minkie giraffe fabric is the backing for this quilt. This is for my niece's baby that will be here after the first of the year.
I bought this kit at the quilt show in Paducah this year. Theirs was originally a wall hanging. I bought a little extra fabric to make it a lap size quilt. I decided that I liked it so much when i began making it that, I had to order more to make it queen size for my room.
I have a few quilts that I still need to post. This one is a minkie. The giraffe fabric is what a used as the back of another giraffe quilt. Then I used some of the left overs and other minkie scraps to make this one.
This is actually my 43rd quilt, l just need to post the others. This is an owl quilt baby quilt made at the request for a coworker.
